Our Mission

AOWN has been in existence since 1981. The Aging Office of Western Nebraska Homeless Assistance began in 2024 as a means of raising funds for the Homeless in Western Nebraska Panhandle. Since January 1, 2024, our non-profit organization has experienced a tremendous increase in the number of individuals experiencing homelessness in Western Nebraska.

Our Approach

The Aging Office of Western Nebraska began a fund to assist the homeless with simple donations from our employees. We have expanded our outreach to the community and businesses to provide an opportunity for everyone to offer assistance to help solve the homeless problem in Western Nebraska. Join us today.
